MY VISUAL DISPLAYS
Displays from my time at university, throughout placements and my thirteen months at Harrods ( I have designed , sourced all the props and installed these displays.)

My honours project in my final year, I created photo shoots of my displays. The mannequins and accessories displays were examples of how my honours project would work.

While studying in my final year me and three other class mates were chosen to design and install 3 window displays and a display in the atrium at Jenner's John Lewis and Waterstones. This was for the Edinburgh International Festival 2012. This was an amazing experience and I developed my skills I gained on my degree. Each window display was slightly different while using the Dove logo.

Following on from my disertation which was on Marks and Spencers I had to create an exhibit stand to showcase my disertation suggestion. I created a new brand for men between 18 - 25 as Marks and Spencers has not managed to crack into that market yet. (in my opinion.) The clothing was based on the American Preppy style as at the time (late 2011, early 2012) brands which stocked this style were making massive profits. (research found in Retail weekly and Drapers to support this.)

While working as a sales adviser for Whistles in Harrods I had the responsibility of creating trend sheets compairing Whistles items with High End fashion brands. I would produce these each week and present it to the team. This would provide information to bring up with customers to encourge customers to chose Whistles clothing over ther brands.
WHISTLES MERCHANDISING

At Harrods Whistles had two delieveres a week. Once all the items were processed I would merchandise the rails to reflect the new products. Using money mapping we were able to identify which rails were consitantly selling more items and to place the new delieveries on these and items which wern't selling. While still creating a story behind the outfits.

WHISTLES - HARVEY NICHOLS

I worked with one of the visual merchandisers from Whistles, we merchandised Harrods, Harvey Nichols and Nottinghill's stores.
This helped me see how merchandising can be so different in each store with very similar products due to customer focus, fixtures and best sellers.

Honors Project

At university my honors project was based on pop up stores and a full length mirror which allows the consumer to access all clothes from the shops websites in the shopping centre the CLONE is placed in. The Clone allows the consumer to choose different items from all stores and view them on themselves in the mirror. This cuts out trying clothes on for the customer in a rush. Also this is product research for the brand as they know what customers want in that particular area.

Internal Windows

Small Heading
Fortnum & Mason

My first window display. (Feb 2016) The theme is Afternoon Tea Baking for this display. Using products from the 1st floor in the Home cooking department.
Valentines window display; I was given candles as my product to create a display for. Due to the particular candle product not being in stock on time I had to use other windows until the stock was delivered. Once the candles were delievered I went back into the window and changed the stock. This now reflects the image in the background of the display.

Easter window display. We had an outside company produce the chicken and eggs. Once the chicken was installed I arranged the eggs, chocolate boxes and feathers. This window emulates the fun of easter.
